When you visit this website, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This can include your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, security signals and diagnostic data. CIUC does not use this version of the site to build advertising profiles or track visitors across websites.

3. Why we use it

We do not use consent as the default lawful basis for ordinary business enquiries. Where consent is appropriate, you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Who receives information

We use service providers that support this website and our communications, including Cloudflare for hosting, DNS and security, and Microsoft for business email. They process information under their own contractual and legal obligations. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards, we rely on an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We normally retain general enquiries for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. We may keep records longer where they relate to an active contract, a legal obligation or a dispute. Hosting and security records are retained according to the settings and retention periods of the relevant service.
